Chapter 13: Sonic Art in Everyday Life
The title connotes at least two methods of resolving what at first appears to be remote and unrelated categories. The first and most obvious suggests a natural embedding of pragmatic sonic arts practice into daily life, while the second relies on the cross-transferability of sonic arts concepts (and in particular universal laws) as a means of understanding daily life on a deeply enlightened level. The first is about doing and the second is about knowing. As I have already discussed Health in Chapter 12: Sound Therapy this chapter will concentrate on the dichotomy of the mundane and the extraordinary.
